Black Panther Disney Pin
You may have recently seen the many news articles, including Fox News, regarding the Black Panther Disney Pin. Many of the news articles are misinformed and/or speculating without the correct facts.
Disney Pins Blog posted a new Marvel Black Panther Disney Pin on social media that went viral. The pin was actually released in late December 2017 and was featured on many Instagram accounts before DPB posted it. Unfortunately, the original post on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook received negative feedback. The pin was shot on an iPhone X in the overhead light at Disney’s Pin Traders at Disney Springs. This in return made the pin look as if the skin around his eyes had a lighter shade. We always try to take pin photos in the light so you can see the detail better. We post many photos per day since there are so many pin releases and personally didn’t think it was that bad.

In our opinion, this was blown way out of proportion. We removed the original posts due to constant negative feedback and racist remarks. We are astonished that Disney is being accused of whitewashing over this.
No one is dying here, this is a simple pin for a Disney collecting hobby. Disney Pins Blog is a 100% positive website and we plan on keeping it that way.
